I am an intellectual of high intelligence. I sometimes surround myself with other intellectuals of like mind and of opposing views... It seems most nowadays agree on the Federal Reserve being a currupt institution that is cuasign an intentional downfall of America... for the most part these are true patriots I engage in debates with from time to time...
One thing that jumps out at me in intellectual circles is the degree of atheism that abounds...
I beleive one can be both an intellectual and a believer. They often ask how can you beleive in a the bible when there is no proof of ANY OF IT other than in the bible... that is where the debate starts and I usually leave them speechless and unable to continue the debate and they realize that I can far ore prove the existence of christ than they can prove the opposite .... at this point they usually disengage form debate and still pull there on personal wall up around them that enables them to deny Christs existence...
Here are some good debate topics for you when engaged in this debate or if your reading this and are a non-beleiver read this, research, and absorb the information for yourself....
OKAY lets leave the OLD testement and NEW testement OUT for a bit EVEN THOUGH the NEW TESTEMENT is backed up by more hsitorical documentation than any other work in history ... becuase the athesist "intellectual" will refuse anything that comes from these two sources ....
One of the COOLEST BOOKS on the subject ever written was a short book written by an ATHESIST who set out to PROVE CHRIST WAS A MYTH AND NEVER EXISTED --- ITS CALLED "The CASE FOR CHRIST" - its a short read written by an athesist who wanted to PROVE CHRIST NEVER EXISTED ... but a funny thing happen during his research and writing of the book against CHRIST EXISTING - HE BECAME A BELIEVER ....
NOW FOR MORE EVIDENCE....
NOW LETS SEE IF CHRIST EXISTED BASED ON SOURCES OTHER THAN THE BIBLE ..... LETS READ ON...
NOTE: I intentional left out gospels and writings or the new testement even though historically some of them are impoortant as HISTORICAL documents written by people who lived at the time but we will leave them out ......
Again you have to have FAITH whether or not CHRIST is the SOn of GOd or FAITH that he is not the SON of GOD but its hard to disporve he did not exist as at least a MAN ... its just to hard to argue that CHRIST and the others that followed him did not exist ....
1.) It is important to recognize that in 70 A.D., the Romans invaded and destroyed Jerusalem and most of Israel, slaughtering its inhabitants. Entire cities were literally burned to the ground! We should not be surprised, then, if much evidence of Jesus' existence was destroyed. Many of the eye-witnesses of Jesus would have been killed. These facts likely limited the amount of surviving eyewitness testimony of Jesus.
2.) The first-century Roman Tacitus, who is considered one of the more accurate historians of the ancient world, mentioned superstitious "Christians " ("named after Christus" which is Latin for Christ), who suffered under Pontius Pilate during the reign of Tiberius. Suetonius, chief secretary to Emperor Hadrian, wrote that there was a man named Chrestus (or Christ) who lived during the first century (Annals 15.44 ).
3.) Flavius Josephus is the most famous Jewish historian. In his Antiquities he refers to James, “the brother of Jesus, who was called Christ.” There is a controversial verse (18:3) that says, "Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man. For he was one who wrought surprising feats. . . . He was [the] Christ . . . he appeared to them alive again the third day, as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning him." One version reads, "At this time there was a wise man named Jesus. His conduct was good and [he] was known to be virtuous. And many people from among the Jews and the other nations became his disciples. Pilate condemned him to be crucified and to die. But those who became his disciples did not abandon his discipleship. They reported that he had appeared to them three days after his crucifixion, and that he was alive; accordingly he was perhaps the Messiah, concerning whom the prophets have recounted wonders."
4.) Julius Africanus quotes the historian Thallus in a discussion of the darkness which followed the crucifixion of Christ (Extant Writings, 18).
5.) Pliny the Younger, in Letters 10:96, recorded early Christian worship practices including the fact that Christians worshiped Jesus as God and were very ethical, and includes a reference to the love feast and Lord’s Supper.
6.) The Babylonian Talmud (Sanhedrin 43a) confirms Jesus' crucifixion on the eve of Passover, and the accusations against Christ of practicing sorcery and encouraging Jewish apostasy.
7.)Lucian of Samosata was a second-century Greek writer who wrote that Jesus was worshiped by Christians, introduced new teachings, and was crucified for them. He said that Jesus' teachings included the brotherhood of believers, the importance of conversion, and the importance of denying other gods. Christians lived according to Jesus’ laws, believed themselves immortal, and were characterized by contempt for death, voluntary self-devotion, and renunciation of material goods.
8.)Mara Bar-Serapion wrote that Jesus was thought to be a wise and virtuous man, was considered by many to be the king of Israel, was put to death by the Jews, and lived on in the teachings of his followers.
9.) Then we have all the Gnostic writings (The Gospel of Truth, The Apocryphon of John, The Gospel of Thomas, The Treatise on Resurrection, etc.) that all mention Jesus. NOT IN BIBLE just historical writings that wer enever included in the bible
10.) In fact, we can almost reconstruct the gospel just from early non-Christian sources: Jesus was called the Christ (Josephus), did “magic,” led Israel into new teachings, and was hanged on Passover for them (Babylonian Talmud) in Judea (Tacitus), but claimed to be God and would return (Eliezar), which his followers believed - worshipping Him as God (Pliny the Younger).
11.) there is overwhelming evidence for the existence of Jesus Christ, both in secular and Biblical history. Perhaps the greatest evidence that Jesus did exist is the fact that literally thousands of Christians in the first century A.D., including the 12 apostles, were willing to give their lives as martyrs for Jesus Christ. People will die for what they believe to be true, but no one will die for what they know to be a lie.
12.) Tacitus (c. 56–c. 117), writing c. 116, included in his Annals a mention of Christianity and "Christus", the Latinized Greek translation of the Hebrew word "Messiah". In describing Nero's persecution of Christians following the Great Fire of Rome c. 64, he wrote:
Nero fastened the guilt of starting the blaze and inflicted the most exquisite tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius 14-37 at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judaea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome, where all things hideous and shameful from every part of the world find their centre and become popular.
13.) Gaius Suetonius Tranquillus (c. 69–140) wrote the following in his Lives of the Twelve Caesars about riots which broke out in the Jewish community in Rome under the emperor Claudius:
"As the Jews were making constant disturbances at the instigation of Chrestus, he (Claudius) expelled them from Rome"
14.) Thallus, of whom very little is known, wrote a history from the Trojan War to, according to Eusebius, 109 BC. No work of Thallus survives. There is one reference to Thallus having written about events beyond 109 BC. Julius Africanus, writing c. 221, while writing about the crucifixion of Jesus, mentioned Thallus. Thus:
On the whole world there pressed a most fearful darkness; and the rocks were rent by an earthquake, and many places in Judea and other districts were thrown down. This darkness Thallus, in his third book of History, calls (as appears to me without reason) an eclipse of the sun
15.) Lucian, a second century Romano-Syrian satirist, who wrote in Greek, wrote:
The Christians, you know, worship a man to this day — the distinguished personage who introduced their novel rites, and was crucified on that account… You see, these misguided creatures start with the general conviction that they are immortal for all time, which explains the contempt of death and voluntary self-devotion which are so common among them; and then it was impressed on them by their original lawgiver that they are all brothers, from the moment that they are converted, and deny the gods of Greece, and worship the crucified sage, and live after his laws
16.) Celsus wrote, about 180CE, a book against the Christians, which is now only known through Origen's refutation of it. Celsus apparently accused Jesus of being a child and a sorcerer[75] and is quoted as saying that Jesus was a "mere man".[76]
The Acts of Pilate is purportedly an official document from Pilate reporting events in Judea to the Emperor Tiberius (thus, it would have been among the commentaii principis). It was mentioned by Justin Martyr, in his First Apology (c. 150) to Antoninus Pius, Marcus Aurelius, and Lucius Verus, who said that his claims concerning Jesus' crucifixion, and some miracles, could be verified by referencing the official record, the "Acts of Pontius Pilate". With the exception of Tertullian, no other writer is known to have mentioned the work, and Tertullian's reference says that Tiberius debated the details of Jesus' life before the Roman Senate, an event that is almost universally considered absurd. There is a later apocryphal text, undoubtedly fanciful, by the same name, and though it is generally thought to have been inspired by Justin's reference (and thus to post-date his Apology), it is possible that Justin actually mentioned this text, though that would give the work an unusually early date and therefore is not a straightforward identification
THERE IS MORE but Im tired of posting heheh
An intelligent person when presented with all the facts and research just simply CANNOT CONCLUDE THAT CHRIST never existed .... whether you wish to still deny Christ is another thing altogether...

United Nations Predicts Dollar Collapse in 2009 ...
This news is just confirmation of what I've said for past two years ... in a nutshell
The dollar will rise against world monetary denominations as the world flees the markets and enters into a perceived safe haven.... US TREASURIES ... this will cuase ... MOMENTARY DEFLATION .... then the world will figure out The US cannot hope to pay for its DEBT it has accumulated and leave the dollar for GOLD - SILVER - and other Denominations of monetary units in the world on better financial standing... THIS WILL BE A PERIOD of high INFLATION that more than likely could lead to HYPER INFLATION ....
NO COUNTRY in the history of the world has PRINTED ITSELF out of FINANCIAL TROUBLE...

UN team warns of hard landing for dollar
By Harvey Morris in New York
Published: December 1 2008 08:48 Last updated: December 1 2008 08:48
The current strength of the dollar is temporary and the US currency risks a hard landing in 2009, according to a team of United Nations economists who foresaw a year ago that a US downturn would bring the global economy to a near standstill.
In their annual report on the world economy published on Monday, the economists said the dollar’s sharp rebound this autumn had been driven mainly by a flight to the safety of the international reserve currency as the financial crisis spread beyond the US.
The overall trend remained a downward one, however, reflecting perceptions that the US debt position was approaching unsustainable levels. An accelerated fall of the dollar could bring new turmoil to financial markets.
“Investors might renew their flight to safety, though this time away from dollar-denominated assets, thereby forcing the US economy into a hard landing and pulling the global economy into a deeper recession,” the report said.
Publication of the annual survey by the UN’s Department of Economic and Social Affairs, its trade organisation Unctad and UN regional bodies, was brought forward by a month in the light of the financial crisis. It was launched in Doha to coincide with the UN-sponsored development financing conference in the Qatari capital.
The UN team said that, as the financial crisis spread beyond the US, there had been a massive shift of global financial assets into US Treasury bills, driving their yields almost to zero and pushing the dollar sharply higher. At the same time, however, the US’s external debt had risen to new heights that could provoke a dollar collapse.
The report recommends reform of the international reserve system away from almost exclusive reliance on the dollar and towards a globally backed multi-currency system.
Rob Vos, a Dutch economist who heads the UN’s policy and analysis division and who is responsible for the annual economic review, said the global economic pain could be eased if governments co-ordinated a spate of stimulus packages that were already under way.
“There has been a sea change in attitudes in favour of intervention and concerted action,” he told the Financial Times. He welcomed statements from US president-elect Barack Obama’s transition team in support of spending on infrastructure

GOLD / SILVER and why the dollar is temporarily RISING ....
Don’t let the government trick you out of understanding the true value of gold and silver in the coming era of economic survival...
What’s really going on with gold and silver?
When gold hit $700 per oz, it brought the price to a negative 7% compared to a year ago. This would roughly mirror the huge correction “within” the bull market we saw from 1970 to 1980. The same Bull Run that took gold from $34.50oz. In January 1970, to $850oz. by January 1980, that’s roughly a 2,450% increase!
The question still lies… Why has gold dropped?
I challenge you to see things for what they really are, in terms of U.S. dollars; Gold has indeed dropped from its March highs of $1,000 per oz.
That’s only because gold is traded in U.S. dollars and the U.S. dollar has rose so much against other currencies. In fact, if you are in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, or most other countries, gold is actually at an all time high!
Let’s take a closer look at the reasons the U.S. dollar has surged higher.
To say the U.S. dollar rally is real or sustainable is like saying everything we know about economics is wrong! How can the U.S. dollar get stronger as the U.S. economy deteriorates?
The obvious answer is that it can’t!
The U.S. dollar is being devalued at an alarming rate. Faster than what took place in Argentina, Mexico, and Russia put together. The only difference is that our government has better ways to hide it.
Just think about the recent bailouts, how much has our government thrown down the endless “bail out hole”…
Let’s add it up!
$ 800 billion to support mortgage consumer debt.
$100 billion for Fannie Mae
$100 billion for Freddie Mac
$150 billion for Stimulus package (from January)
$8 billion for Indymac
$29 billion for Bear Stearns
$ 700 billion for Wall Street ( Bank of America; Merill Lynch, City Group, JP Morgan, Washington Mutual, Wells Fargo; Wachovia, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs…)
$143.8 Billion for AIG ( which keeps growing)
$25 Billion for the big three in Detroit.
$138 billion for Lehman Brothers (post bankruptcy) through JP Morgan.
$ 50 Billion for money market funds.
$ 620 billion for general currency swaps from the feds.
Totaling : $2,863,800,000,000
This doesn’t include the hundreds of billions the feds have and will continue to buy in commercial paper. Plus, what they lend out to other financial firms.
Not to mention, the feds recent supply of new credit lines to Brazil, Mexico, South Korea, and Singapore to “help those countries deal with the global credit crisis.” The feds will start at $30 billion and have promised up to $100 billion dollars per country.
Can someone say hyper-inflation!
If you can’t see where the U.S. dollar and gold are headed, I’ll be crystal clear! The dollar is going in the exact same direction as the Zimbabwe dollar and Mexican peso. Between the last devaluations of the peso, it’s lost 99.9%. If you want to know the price of gold in old pesos; you just have to multiply gold by 100,000.
With everything that has taken place, many “main-stream” TV commentators believe or want us to believe, that the U.S. dollar is now the currency of choice; a safe haven or flight to quality.
Nothing can be further from the truth.
The fact is that the U.S. dollar is now seen as a liability, not an asset. More and more countries are walking away from it.
The reason the U.S. dollar has gone higher is due to the $598 trillion dollar derivatives market. You see, hedge funds have over leveraged themselves and have been hit with tremendous margin calls as markets move against them. They have been forced to liquidate their investments overseas, which is why overseas markets are now crashing. They’re liquidating to come up with equity to pay off margin accounts, which need to be paid off in U.S. dollars.
The dollar is NOT rising because it’s a “safe haven” or a flight to quality; but rather to satisfy U.S. margin accounts. Remember until further notice, margin accounts in most emerging world markets can also be satisfied in U.S. dollars hence, the surge in demand for the U.S. dollar over the past few weeks.
Now let’s talk about deflation. It’s true deflation is here! Deflation is a normal stage in any depressionary economic cycle. Prices of goods and services are going down, they have to. We have an over inventory of cars, electronics, homes, etc… The universal law of supply and demand kicks in.
Sellers of goods and services are forced to devalue their prices in order to attract buyers. Regardless of lower prices, people just aren’t buying.
Have no fear, deflation won’t be here long. The un-federal reserve assures us of that, every time they create money out of thin air.
Hyper inflation is just around the corner!
Anyone with a head on their shoulders knows that current consumer price index (CPI) is phony! Real inflation is much higher then government reported numbers.
Whether you believe hyper inflation is coming or not, you better prepare for it.
It happened to the Argentina, Russia, Germany, and recently to Zimbabwe.
It’s true; our government is just as irresponsible in their creation of money.
Another key issue that’s looming on the horizon is the five dollar floor for mutual funds. By law, mutual funds have to sell out of stocks that are trading under $5 per share. With the recent drop in the Dow, a lot of stocks are getting dangerously close to that mark, and when they get there, all mutual funds holding that stock, will have to sell it, creating a snow ball effect. Plus don’t forget we are walking into the worst retail Christmas season, ever forecasted. When the depressing numbers hit Wall Street, get ready to see the DOW take another dive!
Now let’s talk about the nasty rumor of market manipulation and price fixing in the gold and silver markets.
The commodity futures trading commission (CFTC) puts out the “Commitments of Traders” (COT) reports. In where the public can clearly see the net long or short positions held by non-commercial and commercial institutions in all exchange trade commodity markets. Well, without dragging this out..
It’s true! Up until the first week of November, two well known bullion banks held %76 of all the short positions in the silver pits and the same two Institutions also held 60% of all the short positions in the gold pits at the New York Mercantile Exchange and the COMEX division.
The question is, “can this go on forever”? The answer is NO!
In fact, the CFTC is now in an active investigation of both the gold and silver pits.
Plus! At or before the expiration of the specified futures contract (gold/silver) all short positions must be satisfied by either the sale of the commodity (gold and silver) or the buying back of the short position. Well, we know they can’t sell metals they don’t have, therefore the only other option is to buy the short positions back, with a sizable profit I’m sure. Nevertheless, they will be bought back. Which will add a frenzy of buying, ultimately sparking the next Bull Run in that market.
Ladies and gentlemen, the time has never been better to own tangible gold and silver. We all know what gold and silver are capable of when the buying frenzy starts. You don’t need to be a doomsdayer to know that the worst is yet to come.
The largest load of bank loans re-adjusting the first quarter of 2009 and not stopping until 2012
Bank failures
Foreclosures
Rising unemployment.
Inflation
Crashing U.S. dollar
The introduction of the North American Union and the Amero.
We encourage you to acquire tangible gold and silver not so much for profit, but rather for protection.
Respectfully,
Alex Panameno
Trading Director.
